Dono Title Search Now Runs Inside Settlor

Ordering a title search from inside a production system usually is not really ordering it from inside the production system. You leave the file, send an email or log into a vendor portal, wait, then come back and type the results in.

That last step is the one worth looking at. Re-entering returned data does not make a search more accurate. It just adds a place for the file to sit and a place for numbers to drift from their source.

What changed

Dono title search is now available directly inside Settlor.

Assign an order to Dono from within Settlor and it routes over with the property and transaction data already attached. Nothing to re-type on the way out.

Dono collects the records from county sources, extracts and indexes them, and a title professional verifies the result before anything is released. The completed search comes back into the same Settlor order.

The examiner opens the file, reviews the search, and makes the call. That part does not change, and it should not.

What it covers

700+ counties today, with an average of four hours to complete a full property search.

You pay only for the searches you order. There is no separate platform fee and nothing to set up outside Settlor.

Why it works this way

Every county keeps records differently, but the fundamentals of a search hold everywhere: establish the chain, find what encumbers it, confirm what is still open. The engine works from those fundamentals and adapts them to each county's structure. Each new county live makes the next one faster.

Settlor built its platform to let agencies choose their own vendors and keep their own data. That is the same reason this integration fits: the goal is to remove the grunt work from a search, not to move an agency onto a different way of working.
